TheÂ USCÂ School of Pharmacy invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical and Health Economics position at its Masters of Science in Healthcare Decision Analysis (HCDA) program. The program has a national reputation for successfully graduating numerous applicants who have subsequently obtained key positions in healthcare, including biopharmaceutical industry and medical device industries, health insurance, and government agencies.
Of particular interest are candidates with broad industry experience and expertise across both domestic and international markets in the biopharmaceutical industry, health insurance sector, or healthcare consulting. The successful candidate will serve the role of course coordinator and faculty instructor for a highly innovative graduate program which combines core components of health/pharmaceutical economics, health policy, and healthcare business strategy. This individual will be expected to teach and oversee selected weekend courses along with weekday course offerings.
This individual will work within HCDA, the School of Pharmacy and the Leonard Schaeffer Center, collaborating with faculty and staff to continue development of targeted health economics and healthcare business-related program content. and delivery to attract qualified degree candidates Training and experience in health economics or biostatistics, market access and reimbursement management is preferred though not an absolute requirement.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
PhD, MD, PharmD or DSc degree with graduate level training in health economics, health services research, health administration or related fields with relevant research and management experience across the healthcare industry.
