Albright College, a liberal arts college in Reading, PA, is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Director of Student Involvement and Leadership. Reporting to the Vice President of Student and Campus Life, the Director provides a variety of services to students and the College including, but not limited to the management of the student center, coordinating student involvement and leadership programs, new student orientation programs and supporting student organizations. The Director is responsible for the supervision of student employees, area administration, facilities management, policy enforcement and the advising of the Albright College Activities Council (AC2), Student Government Association (SGA), The Office of Student Involvement & Leadership, Greek Life, The Center for Community Service & Engagement and Multicultural Programs. This position requires excellent communication skills in its work with a wide variety of College departments.
Master’s degree required. At least three-to-five years of work experience in student activities and/or multicultural affairs is preferred. Experience cultivating relationships and communicating effectively, oral and written, with a broad range of constituencies is extremely important. Previous experience in higher education is strongly preferred.
