Job Title: Operations Director - North America Manufacturing Sites
Reports to : North America Alliance Director
The purpose of this position is to direct and oversee the facility services for a manufacturing portfolio. This role is responsible for managing performance metrics in accordance with account Key Performance indicators (KPIs). This role oversees the performance of Facility Managers as well as affiliate facility operations partners. This role provides operational leadership for all aspects of the Integrated Facility Management (IFM) service line of business within the North America manufacturing sites, by achieving goals and objectives centered around operational excellence, financial excellence and contract governance as well as the deployment of facility management processes and programs with the intent to achieve excellence in client satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspire a strong culture of Safety Before Service and seek to exceed all safety indicators
Ensure all CBRE services deliveries comply with client quality processes and ensure that CBRE participate in site quality audits
Ensure that all sites within the region have implemented GWS QHSE processes and remain in compliance
Responsible for full site financials as well as site growth (OOS/Additional Work)
Set priorities and performance expectations for the manufacturing in conjunction with the North America Alliance Director
Build a team of strong site Facility Managers - establish goals for direct reports and cascade down to the Technicians - drive team performance including corrective action, reviews and award recommendations
Develop, implement and monitor short and long-range operations plans and budgets for North America manufacturing sites. Ensure key metrics are achieved to support the account strategy and targets, including financial - Annual Guaranteed Savings Site Budget (AGSSB) and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) requirements, customer satisfaction and operational/service excellence goals.
Support FMs drive operational excellence (Continuity/Compliance) at manufacturing sites in North America
Support FMs to drive achievement of savings glide path targets with no delivery disruptions
Leverage the account functional areas and subject matter experts, including Technical Services - Engineering, Critical Environments, Health, Safety & Environmental, Strategic Sourcing, and Energy Services, to drive best practices and processes. Continuously improve the quality/cost/performance of the service delivery at site level and within the North America manufacturing portfolio.
Review site leader staffing levels, staff performance, succession planning, training and recruitment to ensure that CBRE attracts and retains top talent
Build a strong relationship with local customers and effectively address, resolve and sponsor relationship issues
Support account leadership and modify the services deliverables in accordance with changes in account business needs
Monitor CBRE performance against client contract KPIs and SLAs. Take corrective action with site leadership when results fall below established targets
Participate in customer Monthly Operations Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other account meetings as required
Actively share and implement best business practices and other operating innovation throughout Global Workplace Solutions (GWS)
Participate in account communication requirements and associated activities to drive Employee Engagement improvement. Other duties as they may be assigned

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and/or Technical degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of eight years of related experience and/or training. Prior Supervisory Management experience preferred.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees and client. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements financial policies and procedures. Approves and oversees department budget.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
