The Ph.D. Program in Anthropology at GC seeks an Associate or Full Professor (with tenure) in sociocultural anthropology. A particularly strong candidate may be nominated as a Distinguished Professor. The appointment will begin in Fall 2020. Minority candidates and women are especially encouraged to apply.
Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
A preferred candidate should be an internationally recognized scholar with expertise demonstrated by a distinguished record of publication and research in medical, environmental, political or economic anthropology, broadly conceived.
