The District Manager is accountable for the sales leadership and overall management of the financial needs of a group of retail branches within a defined geographic or business region. Provides input to influence the strategic direction of important policies, procedures and programs. Represents the corporate pillars of governance, optimization, and customer focus to achieve growth within the bank and the community. Creates and maintains cost-effective programs and budgets for units. Proactively coaches and manages staff to include performance management and development. Builds and maintains critical internal and external partnerships.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record, may result in a rescission of your offer or termination of employment.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting or other related field, or equivalent work experience - Ten or more years of banking experience - Three or more years of experience in management
Preferred Skills/Experience - Proven leadership abilities and strategic management skills - Thorough knowledge of unit(s) and relation to industry - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills - Considerable tact, diplomacy and people skills
