French American School of Princeton seeks a dynamic, energetic and experienced Director of Admissions.
The Director of Admissions oversees all aspects of the admissions process including the enrollment and retention of students, the administering of financial aid programs and managing/participating in recruitment and admission efforts. This position is an immediate opening, starting mid-February 2020. This is a full-time, 12-month position that reports to the Head of School.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Present FASP to prospective parents and students
Handle applications and ongoing communication with prospective families; arrange to obtain student records and evaluations from other schools; organize admission testing and maintain applicant files from submittal through enrollment
Plan and conduct open house events, new parent and student orientations, campus tours, classroom visits and informal interviews
Manage the re-enrollment of current students with constant monitoring of attrition and retention, while working closely with the Head of School and Division Heads to organize retention efforts
Administer Financial Aid allocation and the French Government Scholarship program in conjunction with the Head of School
Keep relevant statistics on all aspects of the admission and re-enrollment processes, and maintain updated demographic and statistical information
Create appropriate admissions materials including e-mailing campaigns and publications to relays the school's mission to prospective families
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications Associate to create advertising campaigns to catch the attention of mission appropriate families
Engage in effective community outreach to expand the School’s reputation and admissions penetration in the Princeton greater area
Represent the Office of Admissions at public events, on and off campus, and maintain the school’s good standing in relevant professional organizations
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Head of School
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred.
A minimum of three years of experience in admission and financial aid.
Perfectly bilingual in both English and French with strong written and oral communication skills and ability to effectively communicate in both languages.
Ability to work collaboratively with a dynamic group of teachers and administrators and bring strong leadership skills which complement the administrative team.
Proficiency with admission software, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google applications.
